Secondary rebar manufacturers in Hyderabad have increased gauge parity for all sizes by INR 200/MT w.e.f 22 May’16.
Secondary rebar manufacturers based in Hyderabad have increased its gauge parity for sizes 8-32 mm by INR 200/MT w.e.f 22 May’16.
SteelMint also spoke to few rebar manufacturers based in Hyderabad, who stated that there are about 15-17 rebar manufacturers in Hyderabad (Telangana), who have increased gauge parity by INR 200/MT w.e.f 22 May’16 for all sizes in order to maintain conversion gap between billet and rebar.
Presently, 12 mm rebar prices in Hyderabad are assessed at around INR 25,300/MT (basic price, excise duty and other taxes extra).
However, it is heard from sources that very limited buyers are available at present offers and that too retailers are showing interest.
