Secondary rebar manufacturers based in Durgapur have revised gauge parity for 8, 10 & 12 mm and kept it unchanged for the rest sizes.
Secondary rebar manufacturers based in Durgapur have increased gauge parity for 8, 10 & 12 mm by INR 200/MT w.e.f 27 Mar’16.
SteelMint also spoke to few large rebar manufactures based in Durgapur, who stated that they have increased rebar gauge parity for 8, 10 & 12 mm by INR 200/MT and kept parity unchanged for the rest sizes in a meeting held today by Steel Rolling Mill Association in Durgapur.
Presently, 12 mm rebar prices in Durgapur stand at around INR 25,800-26,000/MT (basic price, excise duty and other taxes extra).
