Indian rebar manufacturers has kept their offers firm during last one week but trade activities remain to be inactive owing to festive season.
At present, 12 mm rebar prices are at INR 27,700/MT (basic price, excise duty, VAT/CST extra) in ex-Raipur, INR 29,500/MT in ex- Hyderabad, INR 30,600/MT in ex-Mumbai, INR 27,600/MT in ex-Durgapur.
It seems that market is looking positive in terms of pricing as domestic coking coal prices has recently increased by about 20%. However, demand is not very supportive at current rates.
