Indian secondary rebar manufacturers are still distressed with minor price fluctuation in major markets. However, semi finish prices across India are rising persistently.
In last 2-3 days, where Billet prices have increased by INR 400-600/MT across major markets, rebar prices have inched up merely by INR 100-200/MT; except in Raipur (+500) and Mumbai (+550).
Currently, 12 mm rebar prices are assessed at INR 27,700/MT in Delhi, INR 24,600/MT in Durgapur, INR 25,400/MT in Rourkela, INR 25,600/MT in Raipur and INR 27,850/MT in Mumbai. All prices are with 12.5% excise Duty and VAT as applicable.
