Indian Railway Board has issued tender to purchase 136,044 MT steel sheets/plates
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has invited a tender for purchase of approximately 87,445 MT of mild steel sheets/plates, 35,941 MT of corten steel sheets/plates and 12,658 MT of special steel sheets/plates on running contract basis in Rail Bhawan, New Delhi. The contract period is of 12 months from the date of issue of the contract.
The offer should be valid for the period of 180 days from the date of tender closing.
The company will purchase the material in bulk, only from reliable, established and indigenous main producers of steel having integrated steel plants.
Scanned copy of following documents are required during bidding process:
1. Performance statement.
2. Details of machinery and plant, other equipment, testing facilities, quality management/control system, and detail of technical man power available.
3. Proof of having paid EMD and tender fees or grounds in favor of exemption/waiver.
4. Road freight charges in per MT per KM for different distance slabs.
5. Quality extra charges.
Due date
The bid document should arrive before 14:30 hrs (IST) on 11 May’16.
