Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) invites a tender for purchase of approximately 15,070 MT of Plates/Sheets for the Railways and production units through running contract.The bid submission due date for the tender is 10 Aug’18 at 14:30 Hrs and tender will open on same day at 15:00 Hrs.

According to document published by Ministry the bulk purchase will be made from those firms who are –
Established, reliable, indigenous producers of stainless steel having in-house Electric-Arc furnace for melting, processing requisite heat treatment facilities as well as facilities for refining and casting stainless, hot rolling and cold rolling.
Bidders must have supplied minimum 3,838 MT of stainless steel sheets and plates against Railways Board contracts in last three completed financial years and current year of tender opening.
