Primary producers in India may increase the quantity discount on flat products in the range of Rs 700-1000/MT for the month of September-12, said traders based in Delhi, Ludhiana and Kolkatta. Discount offer are due to falling international prices and to make parity with import prices which are being offered at $530/t CFR Indian ports.
Current price for Hot Rolled Coil (HRC) in Delhi is in the range of Rs 40250-40500/MT (Incld excise), with the prices in Ludhiana hovering at Rs 41800/MT (Incld excise). whereas prices in Mumbai and Kanpur are at Rs 42000/MT (Incld excise).
The buyers participant are waiting for clarification to book the material. further details will be clear in couple of days
