CoalMint’s vessel line-up data reveals that 0.91 mn t of South African coal arrived at Indian ports from 20-30 Jun’21. Dhamra followed by Gangavaram and Vizag are the top three ports receiving the highest quantities of South African coal, with Adani Enterprise’s capesize vessels arriving at Dhamra and Gangavaram. Haldia and Paradip ports are facing limited availability of coal stocks and are not receiving any vessels for trade purpose. However, at Manglore port, Balaji Coal’s 77,000 t of South African coal is set to arrive during the said period.
