Pig Iron prices in India remain at same levels today.
“Market is dull and ingot prices are low. Offers might fall in the range of Rs 200-300/MT this week and things should improve after around a week or so”, told a trader from West Bengal.
Experts in Delhi said market improves because manufacturing units and foundries take up the pending work as labors are being available in more numbers.
Permission to carry material in rakes has been alloted which was not happening due of high railway freight.
A senior official at Vizag Steel is not hopeful of any fresh export orders and said it is no point exporting material at low prices.
