India: RIL cuts pet coke prices by INR 1,026/t ($12/t) m-o-m for Oct’24
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has reduced petcoke prices for Oct’24. Pet coke prices have dropped by INR 1,026/t to INR 11,637/t, Exw-Jamnagar. It may be noted here that RIL releases a limited quantity of pet coke in the market. Because the company utilises most of its production in its gasification unit.
Chennai Petroleum reduces pet coke prices by INR 640/t ($8/t) for Oct’24
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has reduced its pet coke prices for road supply for Oct’24 by INR 640/t to INR 12,540/t, Ex-Chennai. There is no rake loading facility by CPCL. The average dispatch of pet coke is 40,000-45,000 t/month. It may be noted here that CPCL majorly supplies to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
MRPL reduces pet coke prices by INR 700/t ($8/t) for Oct’24 sales
MRPL reduced its pet coke prices by INR 700/t for October 2024 shipments. Prices of road supply were set at INR 9,680/t ex-works Mangaluru, while rail supply prices were at INR 9,380/t ex-works Mangaluru. MRPL maintains a price difference of INR 300/t between road and rail supplies to cover customers’ costs for moving materials from the refinery to the loading area. MRPL primarily serves major cement customers, mostly through rail transport.
