Indian pellet prices have noticed some selling pressure this week as high inventories and weak demand from sponge manufacturers have weighed upon the prices. Currently 63% Fe pellets is being offered at Rs 8,700/t (Loaded to wagons) at Barbil (Odisha).
It is reported that another big manufacturer based in Keonjhar region (Odisha) has sold 63% Fe at Rs 8,700/t (Ex-Works), which is down by Rs 200/t from last week.
