Indian Pellet manufacturers hold prices this week on low trade volumes. Current offers for Fe 63% Pellets are assessed at INR 5,800-6,000/MT (Ex- Odisha), INR 6,300-6,400/MT (Ex- Raipur, Chattisgarh), West Bengal at around INR 6,900/MT and INR 5,200-5,300/MT (Rajastahan).
Limited offers from Odisha based manufacturers, lent support to prices. However falling Sponge iron prices may force Pellet manufacturers to review their prices soon.
“Current offers for Fe 63% Pellets are at INR at INR 6,300-6,400/MT (ex- Raipur), although falling Sponge iron prices should put pressure on Pellet prices as well.” said a Sponge iron manufacturer based in Chattisgarh.
