Indian pellet manufacturers prefer to keep pellet prices unchanged for this week on decent demand and good volumes.Recent hike in iron ore lumps prices by NMDC, Rungta and Essel mining have kept pellet demand strong from sponge manufacturers.
“We have kept our pellet prices unchanged, also demand has improved from sponge manufacturers.Our offers are around Rs 9,750/t (Loaded to wagons)” said a pellet manufacturer based in Orissa.
Where as pellet manufacturers in South also kept their offers unchanged at Rs Rs 8,200 for 62% Fe and 63% Fe is offered at Rs 8,500/t. (Ex Works).
