Indian Pellet Prices Remain Stable Amid Limited Buying Over Holidays

Apart from Jharsuguda and Jamshedpur, domestic pellet prices across all major parts of the country remain unchanged on weekly premises.

Amid festive season and bank holidays, Week 42 witnessed stability in domestic pellet prices except in few parts of eastern India where fluctuations of INR 100-200/MT W-o-W was noticed.

With market remaining closed since past few days, majority of pellet makers continue to hold their offers awaiting clarity over market direction post holidays.

East and central India based pellet makers highlighted that pellet buying interest from sponge makers is weak over holidays. However it is expected that buying may pick up from next week onwards.
