Pellet prices have declined by upto INR 300/MT on the backdrop of subdued demand.
Pellet prices continue to remain under pressure and have fallen by upto INR 300/MT in Jharsuguda & Durgapur. Also, Pellet prices in southern India have corrected marginally.
Market participants based in Eastern India mentioned that there are less chances of further price correction as the prices are already low. Buying continues to remain low and buyers seem to wait for further price correction.
Sponge iron (P-DRI) prices have declined by upto INR 400/MT (W-o-W) across India.
