Few eastern India based pellet manufacturers raise offers
Durgapur pellet offers have increased sharply this week by INR 250-300/MT W-o-W. Rashmi Metaliks is not quoting any offers in domestic market presently as it has recently finalized an export deal to China. Shyam Sel is offering pellets at INR 3,600/MT (basic). Offers have moved up on the backdrop of increasing prices of pellet sponge (up by INR 650/MT W-o-W).
Jharsuguda based pellet manufacturer Shyam Metaliks and Energy has also raised offers to INR 3,300/MT (basic).
Raipur pellet offers move up marginally amid dull buying
Pellet manufacturers in Raipur have raised offers slightly to INR 3,900/MT (basic). Raipur based market sources shared that few pellet deals have been concluded to Maharastra based plants at INR 3,850/MT (basic, CST extra)
Jindal SAW raises pellet offers by INR 150/MT
Bhilwara (Rajasthan) based pellet maker has offers by INR 150/MT. Currently offers for (Fe 63%) pellets are at INR 5,300/MT (delivered Kandla). Rising iron ore prices in global market have made imported lump offers costlier following which domestic pellet offers have also witnessed increase.
Southern India pellet offers move up post notification of FDF
Bellary pellet manufacturers have raised their offers post notification of Forest Development Fee @ 12% in Karnataka iron ore e-auctions. Presently offers are hovering in the range of INR 4,300-4,350/MT (basic). Also P-DRI prices have moved up by INR 100-150/MT D-o-D.

Trade-wise:
1. Rourkela based Mahavir Ferro Alloys is offering pellets at INR 3,000/MT (loaded on to trucks).
2. As per sources, a Raipur based pellet maker has concluded a deal of around 3,000 MT pellets to a Maharastra based plant at INR 3,850/MT (CST extra).
3. Jayaswal Neco is offering pellets at INR 3,980/MT (VAT exemption) in Raipur.
4. Bilaspur based pellet maker Rashi Steel & Power is offering pellets at INR 3,750/MT (ex-Bilaspur).
