Pellet movement through railway has increased by 60% owing to increase in Pellet production. In May’15, total 49 rakes were supplied against 30 rakes in April’15
Arya Iron & Steel, one of the largest merchant manufacturer in Odisha, has supplied total 17 rakes in the month. Out of this, 3 rakes were supplied to Bihar Foundry & SPS Steel and 2 rakes to Gallant & Brahmaputra.
It should be noticeable that JSPL has resumed supply of pellet in domestic market; total 6 rakes were supplied in the month of May. However, there were no movements of rakes in April’15.
