Some Indian steel mills have resumed HRC (SAE1006) export offers to the Middle East after a long pause, with quotes at around $530-540/t CFR UAE. A deal of around 10,000 t was heard concluded at $530/t CFR UAE for Nov’24 shipment.
This move follows evolving market dynamics in China – notably, rising prices and the National Day holidays.
