A major Indian steelmaker has booked around 50,000 MT of HRC to China at around USD 420-425/MT CFR to China for Aug shipments. Earlier this week, deals to Vietnam from India were reported at USD 430-435/MT, CFR for Jul shipments. Prior to this, in beginning of May’20 Indian mills collectively booked around 2,25,000 MT of HRC to China and Vietnam at USD 388-390/MT CFR basis for July shipments.
