Indian mill scale prices move up on higher export realization

Domestic mill scale prices in India have increased this week by upto INR 350/t w-o-w. SteelMint’s assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) stands at INR 6,500-6,700/t exw Raipur and INR 5,700-5,900/t DAP Kandla. A western India-based mill is likely to export 25,000t mill scale at around INR 7,100/t FoB, credible sources have reported SteelMint.
