With high duty and freight charges on Iron ore fines, exporters are now looking at new avenues like Mill Scale, which is a waste dust produced at the time of re-rolling. Currently it does not hold any export duty.It is also reported that big groups like Aditya Birla group and BBPL have started looking into these sectors.

Vizag= Rs 5700-5800
Haldia= Rs 5400-5500
Kakinada= Rs 5800
Kandla = Rs 5600-5700

Where as international market is trading around $141/t CFR China.
