Indian exporter closed a bulk export deal of Mill scale at around USD 70-72/MT CFR China for early Dec’16 shipment.
Steelmint, earlier reported that a bulk vessel of Mill scale has been reported at Kandla port. According to customs data, vessel “MV Marylaki” is to load 24,000 MT mill scale in first week of Dec’16.
As per sources, the above cargo belongs to Bagadiya brothers and this will be the company’s first Mill scale export shipment for the year 2016.
In Nov’16, India recorded only one mill scale shipment of 9,250 MT from Kandla Port to Lianyungang port in China (expected destination).
Till Nov’16, India exported 188,810 MT out of which 156,750 MT was from Kandla port and rest 32,060 MT was from Chennai port.
