Indian mill re-issues 30,000 t pig iron export tender

An Indian mill has reportedly reissued an export tender for 30,000 t of steel grade pig iron. The tender is due tomorrow and is scheduled for an end-Oct’21 shipment, SteelMint learnt from sources. India recorded a whopping 80% rise in pig iron export shipments on the month in Aug’21 to 0.27 mn t. However, with domestic prices rising sharply, export bookings have slowed down.
