Steel Authority of India (SAIL) had invited an export tender for 16,000 t slabs from Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The shipment of the tender was scheduled for end Apr ’21 and was due on 16 Mar ’21. The tender was heard to have canceled due to lower bids. The tender received bids slightly lower than $600/t FoB against expectations of $610-615/t FoB, SteelMint understands.
