An Indian mill is heard to have concluded an 8,000 t BF route wire rod export deal for Japan. The deal has been concluded at around $800/t CFR levels, sources informed SteelMint. The vessel freight rate via containers from India to Japan is around $60/t, while the rate for bulk stands at $70-75/t.
