A private Indian mill was heard to have booked 4-rakes of HRCs for exports to Nepal.
The deal was closed at $765-770/t CFR Raxaul border (equivalent to $720-725/t ex-plant) for Feb’22 delivery.
In Jan-Nov’21, total exports of HRC/plates to Nepal aggregated to 328,828 t, down by 4% against 342,548 t in the corresponding period of the previous year.
