Melting scrap prices witnessed nominal changes by INR 100-300/t across regions on moderate transactions. In the Northern region, scrap prices inched down tracking semi-finished price trend whereas in the Western and Southern markets, the same remained supportive amid nominal shortage. Prices in the near term may see slight downward correction, trade participants reported to SteelMint.
