Indian melting scrap prices improve by 2% on strong bids

Melting scrap prices drifted up by up to INR 600/t across major scrap regions on the back of higher sponge iron prices and average semi-finished steel transactions. Near term prices may inch up particularly in Western region, trade channels told SteelMint.
