Melting scrap prices today fell by around INR 300/t in Gujarat, Western India however the same remained stable in Mumbai and Chennai owing to minor price fluctuations in semi-finished and finished steel. Meanwhile, scrap prices in Jalna inched up by INR 100/t despite limited transactions. Prices in the near-term may change as per market requirement, trade sources reported to Steelmint.
