Indian ingot prices remain range bound; power cuts offset weak demand

Steel Ingot prices in Indian market remained range bound, with high volatility in steel futures and slow off take in finished, buyers prefer to trade cautiously.

There is no sign of revival in demand in coming weeks, prices can only be supported by power cuts in different states on India reported market traders.

Ingot prices at Govindgarh went as low as Rs 33,900/t (Basic) and pulled back slightly on rumors of power cuts in the state. States like Rajasthan , UP and Tamil Nadu already facing power crisis.
