Over 5,000 t induction grade billet export deals have been concluded from Eastern India at around $480-485/t exw Durgapur (equivalent to $505-510/t CPT Nepal), SteelMint confirmed from trade sources. As per suppliers, the Nepal re-rollers are actively participating on expectations that offers may further firm up, as there is less stock left with them. Also it is learned that a few parcels of commercial grade wire rod have been sold at around $535-540/t exw Durgapur, equivalent to $560-565/t CPT Nepal, via road delivery.
