Indian Importers slowed Scrap purchases on fluctuating Rupee

Indian
importers have cut down there purchases of Imported scrap due to high
fluctuation in Rupee value against Dollar.
 

Rupee has
breached 48 mark against dollar, which has made imports expensive by Rs
1000-1200/mt.

Shredded material in
containers from Europe and the UK has been sold between $490 and $495 cfr Nhava
Sheva, narrowing from $490-500 a week ago.
