Induction route-rebar prices witnessed an upward trend today, increasing by INR 100-500/t d-o-d in most of the major supplying regions, SteelMint’s assessment shows. However, spot demand and trade activities remained limited in both retail and project segments because of lockdown restrictions. According to market sources, rising raw material costs have pushed rebar steel prices up which may continue for the near term.
