A major Indian private steel manufacturer was heard to have booked 1,000-2,000 t of HRC (S275) for exports to Europe at $1,365/t CFR basis. The deal was sealed towards the end of last week for May’22 shipment, SteelMint learnt from sources. Prior to this, a deal involving 5,000-10,000 t of HRC was booked at $1,290/t CFR Europe for May delivery.
