A major Indian steelmaker has reportedly booked around 30,000 t of HRC for export to Vietnam. The deal price stands at around $915-920/t CFR, for Aug ’21 shipment, SteelMint learnt from sources. Prices have come down by $20 against offers seen earlier in the week. COVID restrictions and monsoon in Vietnam have generally resulted in reduced construction and trade-related activities.
