Indian HRC export price increases in a recent deal for Vietnam

An integrated private steelmaker based in western India reported to have booked around 10,000 t HRC for export to Vietnam at $975/t CFR basis for end May-early Jun ’21 shipments, SteelMint learned from its credible sources. However, after the announcement made by the Chinese govt. on the removal of tax rebate on HRC exports, Indian mills are targeting around $1,000-1,030/t CFR basis for Vietnam market.
