India’s finished steel exports jumped by 25% to 0.655 mn t in Feb ’21 as against 0.523 mn t in Jan ’21, according to provisional data recently released by Joint Plant Committee (JPC) today. Indian mills remained active in exploring export options in U.A.E. and EU region amid higher price realization while the domestic demand remained sluggish with limited buying interest since mid-Jan ’21.
