Indian Ferrous Scrap offers remain unchanged this week

SteelMint Indian Scrap
Index has slightly gone down to reach 90.95 points. Scrap suppliers have made
no major changes in their prices.

Indian ferrous scrap
prices remain unchanged this week across the country. Only few places have shown
some movement in the prices marginally by Rs 200-300/MT.

Old HMS opened at Rs
25,300++ (Basic Price, ED & Taxes extra) in Mandi Gobindgarh after 2 weeks
long halt. Fresh scrap was heard being sold at Rs 27,500++ (Basic Price) in Ludhiana.

However, offers for HMS
scrap from ship breaking have slightly went down on Saturday, traded at Rs 24,500-600/MT,
down by Rs 300/MT from the level seen last week. Offers for rolling plate
cutting scrap remain unchanged from last trade price. Scrap of 4 ANI plate
traded at Rs 25,200/MT, 6 ANI at Rs 26,100/MT and 12 ANI at Rs 27,300-400/MT.
