Indian Silicon Manganese manufacturers have raised their offers by Rs 1,500-2,000/t on recent hike (9-10%) in manganese ore prices by MOIL (Manganese Ore India Ltd).
Current offers for Silicon Manganese of grade 60/14 are in the range of Rs 53,500-55,000/t (Ex Works India), although no deals have been heard concluded.
“We have raised our offers to Rs 54,000/t on factors likely hike in railway freight, hike in power prices and hike in Manganese ore prices by MOIL”, confirmed a manufacturer based in Chhattisgarh.
Similarly other manufacturers based in eastern India reported to have raised their offers too by Rs 1,500-2,000/t and current offers stand in the range of Rs 53,500- 54,000/t (Ex-Plant).
