Spot iron ore prices continue to move up ward to low inventory levels at Chinese ports. Although Mill scale offers have been kept stable over last week, said exporters based in India.
In conversation with some Indian mill scale exporters, SteelMint assessed that current offers for Fe 68 Mill scale are in range of Rs 5,100-5,200/t, delivered Vizag port and Rs 4,700-4,800/t, delivered Kandla port.
Market participants also mention that Chinese buying interest for bulk cargo are in range of $132-135/t CFR China and $110-115/t CFR China in containers. They said prices vary on term and conditions.
Offers from Dubai and Pakistan mill scale exporters are in range of $115-116/t CFR China in containers, sources further added.
