India’s induction furnace (IF) steel market remained volatile on 8 Feb’22 as offers from the mid-sized mills fluctuated in the range of INR 50-550/tonne (t) d-o-d.
Sponge iron prices declined by INR 50-550/t with a major drop seen in Bellary (south India). Billet offers fluctuated by INR 50-500/t in many regions.
Also, the rebar (Fe 500) market saw volatility in prices, ranging INR 100-300/t.
