India’s induction furnace (IF) steel market witnessed a Upward trend on 14 Apr’22 as offers from the medium-sized mills increased by up to INR 1,000/tonne ($13) (t) d-o-d.
Sponge iron and billet prices Surged in the range of INR 200-1,000/t following a increase of INR 1000/t seen in Mumbai, Mandi gobindgarh ,Chennai and Rourkela’s billet market.
Also, rebar (Fe 500) offers varied in the range of INR 200-600/t across regions. Prices witnessed an increase in Jaipur’s makret by around INR 600/t.
Overall, markets remained active today with average trade activities triggering marginal increase in prices.
