Indian sponge iron (DRI) prices have been stable for last few months.Offers stand in the range of $380-400 per tonne, ex-works said local traders.
“Prices are quite stable, chances of prices going up or going down are limited and we see prices to be range bound in short term.
Steel prices are also stable in Indian market though demand is not very encouraging.Though low production of steel in Indian market lending support to steel prices.” said Mr Ramesh Agarwal, a manufacturer based in West Bengal, India.
