CRC prices in domestic market trades at the same levels as compared to last week. While, the manufacturers are offering discount of upto INR 500/MT on bulk bookings. Prices are hovering at the same levels majorly on account of no significant change in CRC imports from major CRC exporting countries like Japan, Korea, and China.
Current prices for 0.9 mm CRC are in the range of INR 38,000-38,500/MT ex-Chennai, INR 38,000/MT ex-Hyderabad, INR 37,500/MT ex-Mumbai and INR 39,000/MT ex-Delhi (all prices including Excise of 12.5%).

Imported Offers
Though, importers are not very active at moment owing to sharp fall in global prices, imported CRC offers of 0.9 mm are assessed at USD 460-470/MT from Korea/Japan and around USD 415/MT from China on CIF India basis.
In the month of June, 3,000 MT Ukrainian CRC was imported at Nhava Sheva port, according to customs data. Prices were recorded at USD 425/MT, CIF India. However, there cannot be any confirmation on the same as no new deal has come into limelight.
In 1st two months of FY16, total CRC import of India is 140.42 MnT, in which major contribution is from Japan, followed by Korea and Ukraine.
