Exports volume of Indian origin CRC aggregated to 312,680 tonnes (t) in Jan-Sep’22, significantly down by 60% contrasted against similar period last year. Export duty of 15% levied on non-alloyed flat steel products on 21 May and weakening of demand on the overseas platform later weighed on the export volumes. Current week’s indication for Indian CRC (boron added) exports stood at around $700-705/t FOB, unchanged w-o-w.
