A private Indian steel producer was heard to have booked 4,000 t of CRCs for exports to Europe (EU). The deal was sealed at $875-880/t CFR EU for early or mid-Apr’23 delivery, informed a credible source. Following this deal, prices have fallen by $15/t w-o-w. India’s CRCs exports stood at 356,690 t in CY22, steeply down by 63% y-o-y against 966,055 t in CY21.
