Indian CRC export plunges by 6% in FY ’21

Indian CRC exports slashed by 6% to 5,25,295 t in FY ’21 compared to 5,61,713 t in the last fiscal, as per SteelMint data.

Major importing nations were-

1. Belgium imported around at 1,20,108 t in FY ’21, down by 4% y-o-y,

2. Italy, imported around 76,748 t in FY ’21, slashed by 23% y-o-y,

3. Nepal, imported around 57,713 t declined by 51% y-o-y,

4. Improved domestic sales on increasing preference for personal mobility due to pandemic resulted to decline in exports in FY ’21.
