Indian Coal Stock Updates: Week 3

Coal stock at major Indian ports assessed at 11.7 MnT. Non-coking stock up by about 20%.

SteelMint assessed that total coal stock at Indian ports was 11.8 MnT at the end of Week 3. Coking coal stock was assessed at 1.9 MnT; increased by 32.5% and non-coking coal stock at 9.6 MnT that’s 1.6 MnT more than preceding week.

Ports with highest coal stock

Gangavaram and Paradip ports were reported to have the highest coal stock of about 2.3 MnT and 1.9 MnT respectively. Kandla Port was reported to hold about 1.1 MnT at the end of week under review.

Adani emerged out as the highest coal stock holder, carrying about 1.2 MnT at different ports at the end of this week.
