Billet prices have fallen by Rs 500/MT in both Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab and Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
“Production of Billet is expected to increase because power supply is good and has improved last week”, remarks a Hyderabad based manufacturer.
A trader at Mandi Gobindgarh says, “Trading volumes is quite low and sales has come down drastically in the start of the week. Buyers prefer to take material from other states due to lower prices”.
There is no change in Billet prices today in other locations and market is stable.
