Indian Billet manufacturers kept offers unchanged

Billet trading price remains same at almost all mandis' across the
country.

In Kolkata, Durgapur, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai,
Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Kandla and Bhavnagar, 
Billet offers remain at
last trade price.

Kolkata, Durgapur, Goa: Traders informed about
decent trading volumes at current levels.  

Hyderabad: “Government might impose some power cut
next month due to increase in temperature and to meet the agricultural and
domestic demand. We expect market to improve soon, as prices have bottomed out and
products are being sold at cheaper rates to Raipur market”, said
industrialists.

Chennai and Coimbatore: “Market witness
average demand but there is shortage of material. Being a Monday, trades and inquiries are few”, remark traders.

Ahmedabad, Kandla and Bhavnagar: “Buying is
limited on negative sentiments as buyers are in a wait and watch mode. We
anticipate a further correction”, said market players.

Rourkela: “Billet is being quoted by Rs 200/MT more
and demand is good at Rs 32,000/MT”, said manufacturers.

Raipur and Raigarh: “Offers reduce by
Rs 200/MT at Rs 33,300-400/MT and Rs 33,000/MT (Basic price, payment next day)
respectively and demand is average at current levels” remarked market
participants.
